Our Services

Amanda Buckmaster of The Nurturing Connection has spent many years specialising in pregnancy massage and teaching baby massage. For over 25 years, she served as an Infant Massage Educator Trainer with the volunteer organisation Infant Massage Australia.

Amanda now continues to offer Educator Training Workshops through the recently established Baby Massage Australia. These workshops prepare participants to confidently facilitate baby massage and infant massage classes for parents and carers.

About us

The Nurturing Connection is owned by Amanda Buckmaster.  Amanda is a remedial massage practitioner and has for many years specialised in treatments for pregnancy and children.  A mother of two, aunt and grandmother, Amanda is also qualified in Australian Bush Flower Essences and aromatherapy.  Amanda also holds certificates in adult education and stress management.

She offers a holistic caring approach which she believes supports empowerment of the individual. Amanda’s current focus is as an Educator Trainer with Infant Massage Australia.  She facilitates a combined self-paced online and two day live face-to-face Infant Massage Educator Training Workshop, where you can learn to teach parents and caregivers infant massage.

Amanda believes that nurturing touch can be a powerful tool to enrich of the important relationship between parent and baby.
